Job Details

• Travel COTA position at Carlsbad Medical Center.
• Start: ASAP.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Perform OT treatments, attend care plan meetings, and participate in discharge planning.
• The COTA under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist implements plan for occupational services to patients, including structured treatments and documentation of patient’s functional status.
• Participates in discharge planning activities and performs administrative duties.

Job Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience required.

Schedule Information

• Shift: Days, 8:30a-5p, Mon-Fri.
• Holidays required.
• No call required.
• No floating required.
• Blocked Scheduling is NOT approved.
• 48 hr. guarantees are NOT approved.

Unit Specific Information

• Unit includes inpatient rehab beds and swing beds.
• Patient ratio is 1:1.

Additional Details

• Number of Beds in Unit: 99 bed facility, 10 inpatient rehab beds, 15 swing beds.
• Patient Ratio: 1:1.
• EMR system: MedHost.
