Now Hiring Seasonal Immunizing Pharmacists for a Vaccine Administration Initiative (Flu, COVID-19, MMR, etc.) with a retail pharmacy.

Location: Portland, OR (Locations available in Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, and Wilsonville)
Target Start Date: TBD, flexible depending on when onboarding clears (week of 9/15 at the earliest, likely 9/22)
Type: Seasonal/temporary W2 assignment anticipated through 11/30/2025 (could end sooner if low patient volume)
Pay Rate: $63.00 per hour, paid Biweekly
Schedule: Flexible hours ( requesting availability 3 days/week ). Most pharmacies are open 9am-7pm PST on weekdays with shortened hours on weekends.

Overview:
Join a leading national initiative focused on improving public health outcomes through in-store vaccine administration. This patient-facing Pharmacist position involves administering a variety of adult and pediatric vaccines in a retail healthcare setting, including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and others. PPE is provided, and strong clinical and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• A key component of the Immunizing Pharmacist role is keeping your customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs.
• You will be responsible for the administration of multiple immunizations (ex: flu, shingles, COVID, etc.)
• Administer vaccines safely and efficiently in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Provide empathetic and professional care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain and follow infection control and safety procedures, including proper PPE usage.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and store teams to support patient care.
• Educate patients on vaccine information, side effects, and follow-up care.
• Contribute to a team culture that values compassion, energy, and commitment to health outcomes.
• Adjust to changing schedules and patient volumes as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of practice
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)
• BLS certification required from approved AHA/ARC organization
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
