Position: QA HashiCorp
Description:
Stratacent is looking for an experienced Tester/QA with expertise in Node.js, AWS, and HashiCorp APIs to ensure the quality and performance of our applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Node.js applications and AWS-based solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous delivery of high-quality code.
- Design and execute tests for applications deployed on AWS, focusing on functionality, scalability, security, and performance.
- Test services built using AWS tools like Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of APIs and services built with HashiCorp tools like Vault, Consul, Terraform, and Nomad.
- Perform integration testing for applications interacting with HashiCorp APIs to ensure proper security, access control, and service discovery.
- Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to understand application architecture and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Report on test results, identify defects, and track issues in the bug tracking system (e.g., Jira, GitHub).
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure testing aligns with development goals.
Requirements: Required Skills: - Proven experience as a Software Tester or QA Engineer with strong exposure to Node.js, AWS, and HashiCorp tools.
- Hands-on experience in testing RESTful APIs and services, particularly with HashiCorp products like Vault, Terraform, Consul, or Nomad.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture and best practices in AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest, Chai, Selenium, etc.) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI).
- Experience with writing and executing test scripts for Node.js applications and cloud-based environments.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, AWS CloudWatch) and security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite) is a plus.
