In this role, you will engage with customers, handle transactions, and help keep our store organized and stocked, providing a fresh and inviting environment each day! Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Less than 30 hours a week Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00 | Year 3 - $18.50 | Year 4 - $18.50 | Year 5 - $19.50 Duties and Responsibilities: This position requires the ability to perform various duties, with or without reasonable accommodation. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with leadership. Maintain the security and confidentiality of documents and data. Complete other assigned duties as necessary. Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases efficiently and keep the area clean. Provide outstanding customer service, assisting with shopping needs. Give feedback to management regarding products, inventory accuracy, and any issues. Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock levels. Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses. Stock Associate Responsibilities: Restock shelves and rotate products to ensure availability. Implement merchandising plans to create appealing displays. Organize received inventory and manage packaging materials. Operate store machinery according to safety protocols. Physical Demands: Ability to engage in various physical activities including sitting, standing, bending, and lifting. Stock Associate must manage merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at different heights. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to perform routine cleaning duties to company standards. Effective verbal communication skills required. Capability to work independently and within a team setting. Strong time management skills. Familiarity with company products and services is appreciated. Cashier: Ability to operate a cash register effectively and comply with local alcohol sales laws. Stock Associate: Must have morning availability, starting as early as 5:00 a.m., to support store operations. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
