\n Melville, NY (Remote Flexibility Available) | $100K- $150K + bonus
We’ve partnered with a growing boutique litigation firm known for its trial success, mentorship culture, and dedication to work-life balance. The firm is expanding its team and seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to manage a caseload focused on personal injury and liability matters. The environment is supportive, and the firm offers strong infrastructure for both in-office and remote attorneys.
\n\nWhat You’ll Do:
\n\nHandle a personal caseload of litigation matters involving insurance defense (e.g., premises liability, construction accidents, property damage, transportation accidents)
\n\t\n\tConduct depositions, draft pleadings/motions, and appear in court as needed
\n\t\n\tWork independently while collaborating with senior attorneys for strategy and development
\n\t\n\tCommunicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel effectively
\n\t\n\tParticipate in trial prep and appellate advocacy as needed
\n\t\nWhat You’ll Need:
\n\nActive New York State Bar license
\n\t\n\t1+ year of experience in personal injury or insurance defense litigation
\n\t\n\tStrong communication, time management, and litigation skills
\n\t\n\tAbility to handle your own caseload with support and autonomy
\n\t\n\tMust be based in NY or within reasonable proximity for court appearances (some travel required)
