Job Title: Industrial Cleaner Machine Shop

Location: San Antonio

Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Work Environment: Safety-Sensitive Position

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Industrial Custodian to join our team and maintain cleanliness and safety in our machine shop facility. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily operations by ensuring all machines and workspaces are clean, orderly, and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean all machines in the shop as needed and upon operator request (e.g., after a spill).
• Sweep and mop building floors on a weekly basis, or as directed by a supervisor.
• Empty trash in and around the machine shop regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the break room and service/supply rooms.
• Requisition cleaning supplies and maintenance equipment as needed.
• Assist in moving heavy equipment or materials using hand trucks (only when instructed).
• Attend to all housekeeping and cleanliness tasks promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 12 years of related industrial custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs unassisted.
• Must own and wear steel-toed shoes.
• Must pass an MVR check (Motor Vehicle Record).
• Comply with safety-sensitive standards and company dress code (pants or jeans with a work shirt).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
