Overview: Flexport is looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Events Manager to support the planning and execution of high-impact events that elevate our brand and drive business results. This role is ideal for a hands-on events professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of managing logistics, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional event experiences. The Events Manager will play a key role in executing Flexport-hosted events, including our annual customer conference, and internal conferences. Responsibilities: Event Planning & Execution: Own the end-to-end execution of events, from initial planning through on-site management and post-event wrap-up. Logistics Management: Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, travel planning, catering, registration, shipping, and AV setup. Vendor Coordination: Manage external vendors and agency partners, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met. Budget Support: Assist in the development and management of event budgets, track expenses, and reconcile costs. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across marketing, sales, product, and creative to align event strategy with business goals. On-Site Event Execution: Travel as needed to provide on-the-ground support and ensure smooth, high-quality event experiences. Brand Alignment: Ensure all event elements are on-brand, visually polished, and support Flexport’s messaging and positioning. Post-Event Reporting: Support post-event debriefs, reporting, and analysis to measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in event planning and production, ideally in B2B or tech environments. Proven ability to manage logistics for events of varying size and complexity, including customer-facing conferences. Strong organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with creative teams and vendors to bring event concepts to life. Budget management or budget tracking experience required. Ability to travel as needed to support on-site execution. #LI-onsite The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the posting's respective region. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range displayed, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and / or training.
