Role accountabilities:

In this role, you will assist the development of environmental remedial systems and in-situ technology treatment designs and assessments, including detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and design calculations, and assist with the development of Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, and Remedial Designs; this includes the coordination of figure generation, data management, work plans, and/or other required supporting documents.

This role will require field work about 25% of the time.

Field work responsibilities will include:
  • Perform remedial system operation and maintenance (O&M), and monitoring. Assist in preparation of O&M reports
  • Prepare subcontracts and oversee the work of subcontractors
  • Coordinate field activities which may include contractor/vendor oversight for site characterization, soil sampling and/or groundwater/remediation well installation and construction, groundwater sampling, and excavation oversight
  • Startup activities for treatment systems
  • Be a leader who can provide mentoring and training junior engineers as well
Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or closely related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Engineer-In-Training certification or Professional Engineering license
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and appropriate annual refresher certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or closely related field
