As a Java developer at our company, you will design, develop and maintain high-performance Java applications that meet the needs of our clients. You will also work on numerous projects, including web applications, mobile applications, and enterprise-level software systems, in an exciting, collaborative work environment. Objectives of this role Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java applications at the company. Collaborate with teams in other departments to identify and prioritise requirements. Develop best practices for the company and participate in code reviews with the team and other stakeholders. Conduct technical analysis to arrive at solutions and create technological artefacts in response to production issues. Your tasks A Bachelors or Masters degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field. Strong knowledge of Java languages and web development frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and Struts. Expertise in developing web applications using front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). Working knowledge of database technologies (MySQL and Oracle). Required skills and qualifications Demonstrable expertise in various technical areas, including programming, network administration, and software installation and configuration. Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Preferred skills and qualifications Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP). Knowledge of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (Agile or Scrum). Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Git, Jenkins, and Docker).
