Compensation: Based on experience: Low Range: Entry-level experience with foundational skills. Mid Range: Solid experience with demonstrated proficiency. High Range: Extensive experience with a proven track record of success. Pay will be evaluated based on experience, skills, and qualifications during the hiring process. Work Arrangement: Hybrid Role! The first 90 days will be in-office for training. After that, enjoy a flexible schedule with 2 days in the office & 3 days remote per week! Responsibilities What You'll Be Doing: Accurately review, code, and input diagnoses & procedures using ICD-10 and procedure codes. Ensure coding compliance across multiple medical specialties. Collaborate with billing teams to facilitate timely payments. Analyze and resolve insurance denials related to coding issues. Conduct audits & coding reviews to maintain the highest standards. Provide expert guidance to leadership and staff on coding best practices. Stay updated on industry regulations to ensure compliance. Work in a high-volume coding & collections environment while maintaining quality. Qualifications What You Bring to the Table: 5+ years of medical coding experience. Certified coder (CPC, CCS, CCA, etc.) preferred before hire. 2+ years' experience coding for physicians or surgeons. Medical terminology & anatomy expertise. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word (Bonus: Advanced Excel knowledge!). Fast & accurate data entry skills. Superior communication skills written & verbal.
